Of course...he's the butt of many remarks, but never to wish bad on him...I shook hands with him once and exchanged brief greetings...back when the voting age was lowered to 18 yrs old, he came to my High School and spoke to the seniors about the importance of voting...(that was in Massachusetts many "moons" ago)...ya, I know, I even talk like him...that Boston accent is a give away...my prayers are with him

Cancer is always sad. I pray this man makes peace with his maker before he leaves this Earth. He has been given a deadline, so to speak, which many are not allowed. The Kennedy family all suffered from the wealth and power they amassed.

i've never really liked ted kennedy, but i lost may dad 2 years ago to a malignant brain tumor, and i really feel for his family. my dad died within 10 days of his diagnosis, but it was almost a blessing that he went so fast. my prayers are with him and his family.

I fear that Kennedy may not live very long. A brain tumor, depending on the kind, can kill in as little as a year. We should all keep him in our thoughts and prayers.

I despise those who'll politicize cancer and death.

I'm a Reagan Republican and I do NOT recall Reagan saying bitter personal things about T. Kennedy or even Tip O'neal (friends after 5).

As for the Chirp-a-cricket incident, I say 'Forgive'm all and let God sort'm out.'

As a child of a parent who suffered and died from a brain tumor, I would never wish that on anyone.

I am absolutely shocked with the glee that some people are feeling (see first answerer). Did compassion die when the neo-cons took power? Being happy that someone has a malignant tumor is heartless and just plain wrong.

Source(s): I am not a fan of Kennedy but I *do* have a soul.

That's awful. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Even Ted Kennedy.

  • It is sad. My uncle died from the same thing about two years ago. They are aggressive tumors.

    Source(s): *hugs* don't fret dear.

I just "google news-ed" and I don't see that. It says it may be.

That being said I would feel badly even though I don't always agree with the man. The Kennedy family has a great deal of tragedy throughout the decades.

Very sad. His family has endured so much tragedy, this is just very, very sad. He marks the end of Joseph P. Kennedy's male children, the last of the fabled "Kennedy Brothers."
