McCain is the past. Why would you choose past over future?

It's not only that he's old. His views are even more rooted into the past than he himself

Update:

eehh.. what experience? god save us all from his "experience"

Update 2:

KOALATCO... I'm afraid, with the republcans it's always "cut, cut but still spend" - as the result, you have nothing that can be spent. that's how the budget deficit is created - in a nutshell

Update 3:

TEREZIA, I'm sorry to break it to you this way but it is my opinion that you are an extremely dumb person.

From a minimum of contemporary elections, there is little distinction (different than Clinton vs Bush/Dole). a a great way-left Democrat is working against a average Republican. the only swap became into while a conservative liberal Reagan ran against a average Democrat (Carter). It took years to get a a great way left leaning superb court docket to a center of the line shape yet an Obama win ability little replace (2 socialist justices are predicted to retire and would get replaced with socialists) yet a McCain win would mean a liberal swap to the court docket as the two socialists are replaced with conservative liberals. the magnitude lies interior the state of the international and whether or no longer somebody with the kit to deal with the crises is elected or a rank beginner that has in no way been in can charge of something of substance. In case of misunderstanding interior the conservative liberal terminology, a conservative would be the two liberal or socialist consistent with which equipment is liked, is in practice, and could be conserved. A liberal is a guy or woman who believes in guy or woman sovereignty, land possession, and that folk - if unencumbered via government - will seem after their very own superb hobbies and all society would be uplifted consequently. The Democrats that decision themselves liberals and desire to work out the form extensively altered are diametrically unfavorable to liberalism and are greater desirable termed socialists because of the fact socialism is the alternative of liberalism. On additionally has to recollect that folk at the instant are not vote casting for the Democratic platform; they are vetting their anger against GW Bush.

Everyone always talks about the future.. what are we going to do now to make the future better..... honestly I like the way America was in the past. Economically on top of things, a 76% ddivorce rate rather than the present 51%. People worked hard and wern't seen laying around on the streets being payed by wellfare. Why? because there was no wellfare. Lastly, the presidential elections were indoubadbly more truthfull... primary's now are just a popularity contest. And as long as Hilery keeps sitting in the middle of every issue she has a chance of being elected.

I have no respect for your question. It does not show any serious thought.

Please take a moment, put some serious thought into what you want to say, and come back with a better question.

By your logic, in 1932, someone would vote for Hitler for Chancellor of Germany just because he was younger than the other candidates, and not vote for Franklin Delano Roosevelt for US president, because he was older than the other candidates.

Seriously. Take a break, give it some thought, and come back with a better question.

Ask half a dozen people if they had a time machine, what time would they go to and at least half will choose the past. Conservatism is the opposite of progressivism.

Past is comfortable and known, future is unknown. Obama has no track record. You don't know what you are getting. McCain is pretty predictable and moderate, as is Hillary.

I do not consider myself at all conservative, but I am middle-aged, so I understand those who want to slow down rather than progress. I just don't agree with them.

Past is called "experience" something Obama lacks.

    Obama?

Did he ever serve in the army, navy, air force, marines, (or even the boy scouts?) No

Has he ever held any important postion in business? No

Has he been a diplomat? No

George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Ronald Reagan were all "old men" when they were in the White House. Obama ain't fit to tie their shoes!

This is you. Like,oh my God! Totally!

People think it's cool to be a Democrat or to vote for Obama," said Stacie Barton, 22, a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. "A lot of my (classmates) who don't pay attention to politics just stick with whoever is popular. The people who are not political just ask, 'Who are you voting for and why? All right. That's my guy.'"

Barton said she knew long before the campaign who she'd be voting for — she had helped work on Obama's bid for senator. But she's seen others vote for more superficial reasons, like based on what they see on 'The Daily Show' or 'The Colbert Report.'

"Young people can be a very impressionable and sometimes naive demographic," said Matthew Segal, a senior at Kenyon College in Ohio and the executive director of the Student Association for Voter Empowerment.

I believe that we could have a good future if we have a strong foundation of the Past. But of course you are entitled to your own opinion. This is America the land of the greatest people of all times.

Because as you can tell the things were better long ago... no so many taxes, not a lot of child predetors, crime was less, and a lot of other things. Now we woman have to watch our backs when walking on the bike trails.
