He was there years ago with his position as VP with an airline. We want something very special, very romantic. Any personal opinions on specific places to stay or visit?

I like the Condado Plaza its a really nice resort. Its not to far from Old San Juan so you can easily enjoy the Puerto Rico nightlife.

Try to go to the west side or east side of the Island. On the west Side you can stay at the Copamarina Beach Resort, the Hotel is great and the area to die for. The trip to get there is my favorite. You get to see some stunning views, also you can visit Gilligan's Island or Ballena Island both amazings.

On the east side stay either in The Conquistador or the Paradisus. The beaches on the east side are great and you can take a trip for the day in a Catamaran (amazing and very romantic) and also you can have some adventure going to The rain forest " El Yunque".

I would avoid San Juan, Isla Verde o Condado even though they are very touristy, they are not the best that PR have to offer.

properly its tremendously warm right here. probable around ninety. So carry warm climate clothing. The water is tremendously cool. PR would be resembling cancun, yet no longer interior the San Juan section. probable interior the Rincon or mayaguez section, that are interior the west. The beaches are swimmable, i'd recommend condado and Ocean park. the sea isn't crystal sparkling, it often blue. no the beaches at the instant are not inner maximum. some are crowded, it additionally relies upon on the day of the week, maximum crowded on weekends. i choose to recommend El San Juan in Isla verde. there are various eating places in old san juan, however the charges are somewhat shaky. interior the metro section, the site visitors can get tremendously undesirable, and a few locals are undesirable drivers with loud music blaring from their vehicles. In pinones they have "pinchos" or shishkabobs of meat or poultry for decrease priced value, the section feels like something out of a action picture, a gaggle of brightly colored little properties with merengue and bachata music enjoying loudly. it truly is the place you will experience such as you're in a tropical island quite than a city.

The Waterclub Hotel, is very sexy and romantic. The big resorts also specialize on special ocasions. The are "Palmas del Mar", "El Conquistador", and I forgot the other big one. Also the smaller islands of Culebra and Vieques are very romantic getaways. You two should take the spelunking adventure at the Rio Camuy Cave Park. It was very romantic and when you get back to the hotel all you want to do is ****.

I have stayed at the Radisson and at the Holiday inn on Isla Verde...they both were nice...Get recommendation from the front desk where to go. I do not recalled the names of the restaurants...Remember that everything is closed on the 24th and 25th...of December.

    good luck
