Carmelo Anthony being traded?
It's been reported that the Nets are interested in traded for
Carmelo...I read the trade would go
Nets get-Carmelo Anthony and Marcus Camby
Nuggets get-Richard Jefferson,Marcus Williams,Keith Van Horn’s contract and the Nets draft pick.
What do you think?
Weither Melo goes to the Nets or not i think he'll be playing for another team next year because him and the Nuggets organization don't get along.

Stupid, Stupid, Stupid for the nuggets. Are they kidding so Anthony got a DUI he still rains in 30 in almost 1/2 of the games in a season you cant replace that. People say that they will finally get a pg with williams but what has he done in the league so far? Nothing. They'd be just as good drafting tywon lawson this year, it would fill the spot with a better fit for their offense and you keep a perennial all star. And Richard Jefferson is not enough on his own to replace camby and anthony on his own anyway camby is a defensive beast and the only rebounder on that team. And melo is melo. You want that team to play better fire Goerge Karl and bring the D back to the enver nuggets with a new defensive minded coach such as an avery johnson.

What up Buck,
Trading Melo is not a bad idea at all- but i just think that the Nuggets can get more. Additionally if they want to improve defensively giving up Camby as well- kind of seems counter-intuitive.
Might be interesting though (especially for the Nets) - especially if Jay-Z thinks he can lure LeBron over in '10. Having Carmelo with Vince Carter is also peculiar both are blackholes and that will make them a very perimeter team. Both guys score a lot of points but also shoot a low percentage-- just don't think that woud be very good basketball.

That would obviously only benifit the nets but if carmelo is smart he will push for it, it's been a common theme in the west for the past 10+ years 1 team dominating the conference Lakers, Spurs, and partially Suns. With the west the way it is and the lakers too it's gonna be a ***** for melo to get a championship in the west with that j-kidd melo has some fresh talent to work with and they have a chance to really improve to become a dominant eastern team. But it's early so nothing is for sure

i would do it from the nets side cuz they desperately need something to kick start that team and for the nuggets its proven melo and AI will not/refuses to work sure they have great individual numbers but it doesn't equal playoff wins and Melo would be much easier to move than AI and from Melos stand point id go along with it get out of Denver its just not working head to the east where 4 out of the top 5 of the 03 draft class went and became super stars maybe going east will help Melo get out the 1st round before its to late and he becomes the next Tmac

UM yea RIGHT!!!!! then they have and aging AI that can opt out, lost their best defensive player after already sucking a defense, but great theyll have Richard Jefferson.
I do think that the Nuggets should go after Marcus Williams, they need a younger point guard

carmelo is just a scorer...does not do that consistently enough and thats all he does...
To me he would be a nice third cog on a great team...like odom is for the lakers right now. or kukoc was for the Bulls of the 1990's.
Jefferson by himself is a good trade for anthony. They should unload anthony and get another good player to add to the mix...and keep camby.

i think that george karl and melo cant stand each other, and neither can iverson and melo. but iverson's 21 million dolar contract cant be unloaded, so anthonys will have to go. he is a great scorer but the problem is that scoring is all he does.

you guys are all stupied melo is in the top 5 best players in the NBA him and iverson do get along there r best frends. weitherr he gets traded or not he will dominate
