2000 mitsubishi eclipse headlights?
Is it possible to take the headlight assembly apart to clean the inside with headlight restorer/defogger?
It's not the outside it's inside. I'm positive.

It is the outside of your headlights that are cloudy, this is oxidation (like faded paint). Meguires makes a plastic cleaner and polish (there are also headlight polish kits available). It will probably take some effort to remove the oxidation and they will not come out looking like new but they will look and work better
