Children who cross dress?

How would you react if your young son wanted to cross dress or go for a gender operation? Watch this interesting video:

    Being a crossdresser myself I would be very tollerant and understanding. However I would want to make sure that it was something that he understood about... try to see why he wanted to dress. As a child to get an operation, well at too young and age I wouldn't I do believe that he would have to be mature enough to fully understand what it is that he's be doing. There is no age for that maturity. It is a sense of being and comprehending oneself.

    I would hope that he was dressing for his own reasons and desires and not trying to copy "dad"

    Since gender issues are more likely genetic, then I would not have any issues. Depending on the 'request' I would allow my son or daughter wanting to experiment with clothing of the opposite gender, or get them a referral to a gender specialist
