Does God simply have low self-esteem?

Question

It seems that the God (or Gods) of organized religions like Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. seem to need a lot of praise constantly, from as many people as possible. Is this just a sign of low self-esteem, or at least a slight ego problem? Why would a God who is perfect and supposedly without ego or need so in need of praise all the time?

The praise is not for the benefit of God, it is for our benefit.  

God desires for us to be His sons and daughters in a supernatural relationship of agape love with Him.  This is not an equal relationship.  He is the Creator and we are the created.  To have a relationship grounded in truth, we need to constantly remind ourselves that He is God and we are not.  It is our human nature to want our independence from any authority over us.  Our praise of God is part of the mechanism to establish that right relationship with Him.

God doesnt need our praise he accepts it when it is true love from our hearts. Children love their parents and God is our Father. We show God our Father Love and He loves us. This is normal and you only seek after your own EGO and you will learn in life that by following your pride you only inherit death. Seek God and His Wisdom and find Truth in Christ Jesus
