Have a question about birthcontrol and pregnancy?? see details.?
hi, I just started birth control about a month ago and im concerned b/c my bf and i had sex before the month of me being on it. When i started it i would start spotting for the first 2 1/2 weeks and stopped 1and half week before my expected period. well now Im not on my period about 3 days late if i was to start, and the pregnancy test i took was negative. So could it be that the birthcontrol through my cycle off or am I pregnant???
any suggestions.

it could very well be the birthcontrol getting in your system. I have had that happen before with taking birth control. Its normal so i wouldn't worry. Doesn't sound like your pregnant . but if your not sure the best test is a blood test.

Birth control is designed to make your period regular, and everytime I started a different kind of bc my cycle would be off before it got regular. Since you are late, and took a test and it was neg, I'd say your not. But it wouldn't hurt to take another test in about a week to see what it says just in case.

It's probably the birth control, but if you don't get your period in another week, take another test. if you are still getting a negative at 2-3 weeks late, chalk it up to the pill and don't worry about it.

THE PILL DID THOUGH YOUR CYCLE OFF. WHEN YOU WERE SPOTTING THAT WAS IT. SOME BITH CONTROL PILLS STOP WOMAN FROM HAVING A PEROID.. SO WHAT YOU SHOULD DO IS CHECK WITH THE PHARMACIST AND SEE WHAT BRAND OF THE PILL UR ON AND WHAT THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE. ONCE YOU'VE DONE THAT IFYOU STILL DIDN'T GET YOU PER. AND YOU FEEL SICK ARE ETC.. CALL YOUR DOC AND MK AND APPT. I KNOW THAT NOW DAYS MOST PILLS THAT ARE ON THE MARKET YOU MAY HAVE 3 PER. A YEAR.

I did get pregnant on the pill by using antibiotics. My being pregnant try grow to be valuable. it is not uncommon to have step forward bleeding in case you pass over pills. i'd flow to my community well being branch or disaster being pregnant midsection for a 2nd opinion. they could be a existence saver.

Birth control really messes up your system at first. I don't think your pregnant.
