This is how you do what Dave said. Go to where your Zune folder is. That is usually in the My Music folder unless you change it. In there is the Playlists folder. Open it and find the playlist you want to put in Win Media Player. Then...
1. Right click on the playlist you are going to use.
2. Click on Open With
3. Browse until you find Notepad. Where it is on your computer depends on your OS. I use Vista. I right clicked and selected Open With>default program>browse>C:\Users\my name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\notepad If you are using XP it is probably different.
4. Open the playlist in Notepad.
5. On the top line you will see zpl. Change it to wpl.
6. Click on file>save as.
7. If you want the playlist to be saved in a different folder then change the location then click save.
That will change the playlist from a Zune playlist to a WMP playlist.
If the music on the playlist is DRM protected then it won't play in WMP unless you strip the DRM.
If you goal is to just move the songs so you can play them in WMP just go to file add to library and add the folder the music is in to the monitored folders list.
If you are using XP and can't figure out how to browse for notepad message me and I'll figure it out. My other computer has XP.
This might seem complicated but it is actually simple if you do exactly as I stated.

If you want to transfer your Zune playlists to WMP, you only need to change the file extension from .zpl to .wpl. To do this, go in your Zune folder, find the Playlists folder, and just change it there.
