Each year is going to be different. Just because the "top 2" teams are playing does not mean you will get the best game. The truly great ones are those you hold in your heart like the '05 game you mention, and those moments are special indeed.

Well I think you have the right to brag about the two english teams in the finals , however just a promise next year should be two Italian or two aspanish. Today english teams have good rosters this is mainly for the amount of money they can spend to buy the best players in the world. i think they did, i watched the whole game, it was good all over, if you look at liverpool, they did half good, half Terrable, and they got lucky, in this game it was great all over, D, Offense, and running the whole field.
