Now every morning i have to have my jumper cables ready b4 i go to work and after im off i also need to fing someone to pass me charge with their car. What is happening? can any one help please? First off, the BCM is a one-time use part. Once it is programmed for a vehicle's VIN, you will NOT be able to use it in another vehicle. That's just the way GM made them. You will need to get a new BCM, which runs around $200. The reason you need new BCM is that the BCM and PCM sync using the VIN number of the car. If the VIN doesn't match, the car won't start. A new BCM will need to be programmed by a GM technician or by an independent technician with a Tech-II tool. The total labor should be less than $100.
I did some searching for the cheapest place to get a new BCM and I found it at GMPartsDirect.com, here's how you can find it:
If you go to www.gmpartsdirect.com, click on Catalog, then select your year, make, and model, you will get a listing of all parts categories for your car. Click on Electrical, then on Instruments and Gauges, then controls, and you will see the Body Control Module. From them it looks like it runs $116 + shipping.

I think you should call up the big auto wrecking yards for a good used body control module=BCM. Be sure to call around bec prizes can vary so much from place to place, plus you might want to call around to a few big body shops bec they could have a scrapped vehicle around with that part in it too.
Basically the BCM controls all the dash assembly and anything that's electronic inside of the vehicle and it can cause the vehicle to go haywire or even drain the battery.
Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way it's not a hard part to replace and if you knew someone that could take one out for you at a do it yourself auto wreckers you'd save money. Also you can buy a handy portable booster for boosting your vehicle and their not expensive if you look around maybe 50.00 and believe me well worth the investment, in fact I have one, plus they can check the status of your battery too for you.

well the traction light is on cuz the car is running bad. how many miles is on the car? Try pulling the O2 sensor out in front of the converter it may be stopped up. If it was a BCM it would set a code. make sure your egr isnt stuck open or closed you can try to clean it out with some B-12 carb cleaner hope this helps.

Is the ABS light on also? If it is, sounds like the main wiring harness has chaffed and might be why you are having issues.
