How do you save game on Super Mario on the DS?

You can save every time you a)beat a boss in a castle or a tower or b)when you buy something for your star coins

When you have beaten the last boss (bowser and junior bowser together) you just need to press start. Then the menu appears and you can choose "start"

I had the exact same problem before! To save you have to complete a boss in a castle or pay star coins for the mushroom houses to open up. Once you complete the game you can save anywhere (not in levels of course!). Don't worry! You are'nt stupid. Everyone makes mistakes.

well there are 2 ways to save on mario ds but they are both annoying it either saves automaticly after defeating a boss or spending star coins or after you have compleated the game you can save it from the pause menu on the map screen ...i hope i helped =D

You have to beat a boss before you can save the game. Once you have beaten a boss it will then give the the option to save the game.

You get asked to save it after you have visited a mushroom or beaten a boss.

I know,Annoying right?

Luckily I am at the big green castle at world 8 so thats always saved :)

You have to wait till you get past one of the bosses I think... Either that or go into the little places that are blocked and cost you stars.

you have to wait until it asks you if you would like to save. It usually happens when you have conquered a boss in the caslt or when you use your stars in the mushroom huts

you can't, when you completed a level and get to a certain point, then you can.
