Generally you are going to handle a lot of grievances from the residents and family members. A lot of them are easily remedied, such as locating another blanket or an extra pillow, while others are going to cause elder abuse investigations, which you would be the individual assisting the investigating agency. You would also help with grant proposals, activities, room assignments, and admitting and discharging patients. It is a very rewarding career, and you would be able to help give a voice back to a population that is often overlooked by society instead of being honored for their wisdom.
