My dad remembers when it was a quarter.

I use to remember where I lived the price per liter of gas was 0.45 cents. In Atlantic Canada. During the early 1990s. I wish I had those gas prices now. Plus $20.00 would do me for the whole weekend and up til that fallowing Wednesday.

.89 cents a gallon. way back when, but I also remember the gas shortage in the early '70's when you had to line up at the gas station early in the morning, say around 6am and the most you could get was $10.00, that was a real treat.

when I was a child, in the i960's, I remember gas being about 33c a gallon, and when it was .29 once somewhere, dad made a special trip to fill the tanks in both our cars...

I remember when it was less than 2 bucks a gallon and everyone was complaining about that
