Nope, not every porn star is only in it for the money. Porn is one of those careers where you truly have to love what you're doing- otherwise it'd be hard to handle, given how much harrassment porn stars are given by the mainstream world (seen as nymphomaniacal, slutty, diseased, abused in their childhoods, etc., etc.).
Similarly, many women enjoy watching porn, and don't view it as sexual harrassment. (In fact, if she gives consent, which most pornstars do, it isn't harrassment at all). I certainly enjoy watching porn.
Here are some other reasons why women may perform in porn:
1) Money. First and foremost, it's always a main reason. You can make a lot of money quickly with porn.
2) To safely fulfill a fantasy. There are lots of fetishes that inexperienced folks simply shouldn't be attempting on their own, or who can't do it because they don't have the resources and equipment. For these people, doing a porn scene can truly be a blessing. Say, for example, that you want to use a f*cking machine (and who has the extra thousands of dollars for one of those?), or participate in electrostimulation without accidentally sending yourself into cardiac arrest. Or extreme bondage or anything similar. Similarly, they often have the sets (dungeons, etc.) that most people don't. Porn (or the good type of porn, at least) is full of the props and settings and experienced professionals who can provide you with a great, safe experience to fulfill your fantasy.
3) You are sexually skilled. Anybody who has went to a career counselor knows that you take a look at what you're skilled at doing, and go from there. If you don't mind doing porn, or even enjoy it, and you can easily do double penetration, deep-throat nine inches, be fisted with relatively little work, and female ejaculate with nice shooting distance (or, for a man, can hold off for long amounts of time, get hard quickly and easily, shoot long distances, etc.), then why not go and share your God-given talents in the profession that was made for you?
4) You want to contribute to or change the adult industry. A lot of performers in porn are there either because they admire it and want to be a part of that world, or because they find it lacking in some way and want to fill that void. For example, take a look at Buck Angel. Buck looked at the porn industry and saw that there was no transsexual male representation there- and so he stepped up to become an FtM transmale porn star. Similarly, Shine Louise Houston and her friends started making real, queer lesbian porn because the fakey girl-on-girl stuff wasn't cutting it for them anymore. And many other performers join to contribute to and better the industry.
5) To be rebellious. Everyone is a little curious about porn, and lots of girls, in particular, may want to do something wild and crazy to throw in the faces of their parents or friends or a more conservative community. For some it's a tattoo or piercing . . . and for others, it's starring in porn.
6) To get into other industries. Nowadays, with porn becoming so mainstream and chic, what with Traci Lords first doing porn then mainstream films, and veterans like Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson getting interviewed and having small spots on mainstream television and movies, etc., getting into porn can be a quicker route to Hollywood than actually doing all the legwork with auditions and acting classes and theater roles and cheap commercials.
7) To raise your self-esteem/feel better about yourself/feel desirable. Some women (and maybe a few guys) may have some psychological need to prove themselves to be sexy. By being in porn, you are necessarily wanted and adored and your worth is confirmed.
8) Notoriety and fame/attention. If you want everyone to talk about you and to have your name live on, you simply need to do a good stint in porn.
9) You simply love sex. There are many folks out there who are nymphomaniacs, exhibitionists, polyamorists, etcetera, and for whom pornography is the perfect fit.
10) You can't do anything else. Some folks truly would be screwed, job-wise, if they couldn't rely on their bodies and having sex on camera. They are few and far between, actually, but some people just aren't skilled or have no desire to do other types of work.
11) Because you fell into it. Lots of porn stars actually talk about simply getting into the industry by chance and then going with the flow.
There are a million reasons, each quite individual to the guy or gal in question, but those are some of the main ones (and, once again, money usually is the big one for everyone).
Hope that helps you understand a little better.

I've known many women that ate c um for free and a few that did orgy/gangbang free also...what was the reasoning for that with no pay? I have seen what looks to be a first timer that surely entered the porn industry for money only, but for the most part it takes a little bit of self deviance to continue in the biz.
So I'll answer your question as NO.

It is a job, albeit a disgusting one, and as such it was always for money. I don't understand how they can be allowed to do that but prostitutes are not. You are brave to have watched all that porn.
"may god forgive me, i need money to live my life...."
If you are now considering entering the porn industry you can always say what your limits are and remember that a lot of porn is fake, especially soft core porn; there is no penetration.
I do not think it fair to judge porn stars or prostitutes. If it is shameful, then the shame is theirs not mine and should have no bearing on how I treat them. There are health concerns, stay away from smut videos, but that can be handled in a respectful manner. Solo is also an option.
If I mistook that last remark, I beg a thousand pardons.

Well they need money to live their lives also, and that's why they do it because they make an a$$ load of money.. don't criticise the porn business when your in it. Weather it's doing it or banning it your still in the porn industry.
