    Hello,

(ANS) Fortunately FREE AVG is quite good at correctly detecting many Trojen Horse infections. YES! once the files have been moved into the virus vault you can be assured that if you wipe (delete) these files they will be gone forever completely.

Caution though:- Trojen Horse Infections can be very sneaky and very slippery characters though, they can hide or cloak themselves so a user wont see them. This means AVG will have detected & removed the infection but my advise is to also have a second or further anti Malware scanner installed on your system. In this regard I highly recommend SpyBot Search & Destroy 1.5 to you. This program will detect other things that many other scanners miss completely, its very good.

**Trojen infections on the whole tend to inject or install themselves directly into the windows system folder i.e. c:\windows\system32

**Trojens tend to load processes or programs into your machines working memory and so you have to kill these before they can be removed.

**Trojens are different from Viruses and they DON'T behave like viruses which is why you shouldn't rely on a virus scanner to detect & remove them.

    Hope that helps?

    Regards Ivan
