Which T-mobile plan is best for me?
I am on a grandfathered plan - family plan of 2 cell phone at $59. My maximum monthly minutes at 40 whenever and 200 night/weekend both phones combined. The secondary phone is seldom used, mostly calling the primary phone (mobile to mobile). I do not wish to change provider - I am staying with T-mobile. (tried all of them, don't like others' cust svc & business practices)
We don't use web, text, photo or other gadgets. just a phone for emergency or quick conversations and holiday greetings. which plans are better for me? I was thinking getting a rechargeable phone for the 2nd user and get a cheapest plan for me. what do you think?

Well sounds like you've been with Tmobile for quite a while. Without looking at your previous 3 month's usage it may be hard to tell which rate plan would work best for you. Now the smallest basic Family Time plan that we have available is the FamilyTime 700 anytime minutes with unlimited nights, weekends and Mobile 2 Mobile for 59.99/month and requires a contract extension. If you plan on getting a new phone it will also require a contract extension. So if you plan on doing both, I would suggest upgrading and changing your rate plan at the same time. However if you are happy with your current rate plan then I wouldn't change it at all and just upgrade your phone. Once you change from a Grand fathered rate plan you may not be able to get that same rate plan back again at the same price. Otherwise if the phones are being seldom used, you may want to consider changing one of the lines into a Kidconnect line. With kidconnect you get 100 anytime minutes, UNLIMITED Mobile 2 Mobile for $19.99/mo. With this rate plan you will never have to worry about getting charged 0.40 per min if you go over your rate plan minutes, if you need more minutes you can add more by purchasing a Tmobile Prepaid card. You can even trade in your voice minutes for Text messaging credits if you want to send a text message every once in awhile without having to pay extra fees. Even when your 100 anytime minutes are gone, you can still talk to other Tmobile customers (or to each other) for free. This rate plan can be used with any Tmobile phone.

Sounds like you don't need a plan to me. A prepaid phone should suffice.
