Anyone have any thoughts? A recent glitch, especially noticed in Yahoo.?
Most recently I notice what might not be a critical issue at all, but it is confusing.
I have my DSL through my phone company and shared into aol. I recently had to re-install aol, and soon got an alert that a DLL file had been damaged and removed. That may or may not have any correlation.
More recently, every site I enter, within the context of yahoo, shows "Done but with error on the page."
Does anyone have a clue, as to what might be occurring?
Thanks in advance
Thanks so far. I also add this note, and yes I believe yahoo is in flux, big time. I notice, most especially in yahoo mail, if any other windows are running, the comp freezes, I have to close everything, and re-open what I want.
TY Cobra and I agree AOHell has become a curse. I am kind of tied into it however, through my phone service, but should re-think that for any minor cost changes. For now I'll delete and re-install.

Sounds like the damaged dll file was needed and should have not been removed but repaired.
Uninstall AOL and see if things work without it. You may end up having to reinstall everything anyway to recover the lost file or files.
I tried AOL.hell once and will never use it again. It screwed my computer up so bad that EVERYTHING except AOL had to be reinstalled. AOL is considered a virus, trojan, high jacker, spyware amongst a few others. It hides everywhere like Gator or Bonzai Buddy used to. It's very hard to get all of it out of your registry unless you do a complete reinstall. It corrupts other files sometimes making them inoperable.
These days there is no reason for anyone to use AOL.

I do not think the two are connected. Loads of us are having the error on page fault (and lots of other problems) with Yahoo As for the DLL fault if you have a Windows install disc try doing a repair. Good Luck.
