Paulie Malinaggi and the hair extensions ~ any opinions?
Just witnessed a fight with this kid and D'Nou ~ H _ _ l all I wanted was a brown paper bag ie., my gettin' sick!!X!! Question: Does not this (long hair) cause a BIG distraction for the opponent and shouldn't Paulie have been disqualified ~ better yet just kicked outta' the ring!? Love boxin' as a sport but, keep the theatrics outta' it!
Am sure there'll be negative responses from his fans but, boxing is just that and I believe there's no need for any stage presence! This is my opinion only, so sorta' refrain from the callus words and name callin'...

I thought it was a stupid idea for him to even try to fight with his hair like that- thats why he got it cut when he was in the corner in between rounds. And the referee even stopped the action in one round just so that they could fix Malignaggi's hair- that wasn't right becuase it was giving Malignaggi an unfair advantage by getting a rest, and when his hair was flying all over the place in the first round, the ref didn't do anything. Paulie even admitted after the fight that it was a stupid idea and he would never do it again becuase he lost a few rounds just because of his hair.
