Recommend me some music! :)?

Question

I'd like to listen to something new that's strange and beautiful.

Let me tell you what kind of music I like:
I like Joanna Newsom's Ys, Turin Brakes, Blackmore's Night, Danny Elfman/Oingo Boingo, and oldies like Elvis and the Vogues.
Folk-ish music, melancholic music, freaky music.. anything's good, that's similar:)
And I also like film music (James Newton Howard, Elfman again or Jo Young-wook, Hans Zimmer) (Donnie Darko, too)

Can you recommend me something I'd like?

For folk-ish music check out Clannad, Altan and Dervish from Ireland.
