Injured baby apple tree. Dog scraped off all bark. Can it be saved?

The trunk is about two inches in diameter and all the bark came off in less than an hour three days ago. What do I do?

    It in not dead and brittle, it proably will grow back! I suggest moving the roots to an area where animals wont get to it! If that not an option, it time to remove it!

    wrap the injured part in electrical tape

    What is important is the breed and age of the dog that stripped it.

    maybe wrap it with some tree tape.
