    Most juvenile snakes shed every two months. As they become older and their metabolism slows, they'll shed less often. Also, feeding will affect shedding times. Snakes fed well will shed more often than snakes fed smaller meals or fed less often.

    there is no average when a ball python sheds. It all depends on the age and the amount it is fed. But if you feed it once a week and it is a baby, it should shed about once every month and a half. If it is an adult, It may shed only a few times a year.
