Yellow spuds cropping up everywhere these days....?
The reason I wondered if the color is natural or is added artificially somehow is because it seems that more and more 'yellow' brands of spuds are showing up, due to their appeal no doubt. HOw do you tell the real Yukon Golds from any Yellow Spud and is there a difference?

What is your obsession with Yukon Gold??
They have been around for years, and no one is counterfiting them. Gosh, just buy them and eat them it isn't complicated.
Oh by the way they were developed as a thin skin all purpose potato that is probably the best potato salad and mashing potato there is, but don't bake them..... use an Idaho for that.
