i was wondering if someone texts me and i read it but don't reply does it still charge my mom?

b/c i found away on here to where i don't have to reply on the phone and im wondering will they still charge her? or not

    Depending on your service. If you have a service with unlimited texts, you won't. If you are charged by the text, whether you send or receive you will.

    It will depend on your provider and service plan. Some providers charge you for sending and receiving and some only charge for receiving messages. If you know the provider you might be able to browse their website and find out how text messaging works for that specific provider

    I don't know, but I have a sprint family plan and on mine i get charged for both outgoing AND incoming messages, so probably yes.

    yes it will cost your mother money something like 15 cents per message received and 15 cent per message sent. tell the phone company they might wave it.

    If you open it, then it charges. If you don't, then it doesn't. If you open it AND reply to it, then it charges double.

    Yeah it depends on your service. It get irritating if you get unwanted messages, like when i travel, all the "welcome notes" are charged to my bill!
