Incandescent light bulb cause green house affect?

    Fluorescent lamps are more efficient than incandescent light bulbs of an equivalent brightness. This is because a greater proportion of the power used is converted to usable light and a smaller proportion is converted to heat, allowing fluorescent lamps to run cooler. A typical 100 Watt tungsten filament incandescent lamp may convert only 10% of its power input to visible white light, whereas typical fluorescent lamps convert about 22% of the power input to visible white light.

    Yes, but very minimal, just like all of us who are giving heat are contributing to Greenhouse Effect. You make it green equipment such that it will having saving power input, less the Greenhouse Effect.

    Mostly coal. It's not the make-up of the bulb itself that's the problem, it's the lack of energy efficiency. The electricity it uses *probably* comes from a coal or oil power plant.
