What books can I read...details inside...?

I'm a huge fan of reading and I want to read something "new"...it doesn't have to be a new book or new series but something outside of what I have now. I love Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I also like things along the line of Lost(the show)...im starting to read one of the books they put out"lost endangered species"...and i also like Narnia and Lord of the Rings. I like the whole dragon fantasy thing. I like mystery and magic. Harry Potter I also love to read.

Given that information...what other books and series can I read that is similar to those? It doesn't have to be exactly the same but I want to read new stuff along the lines of those types of books. I really hope I was clear in what I said. I would read anything really....so share your suggestions... THANKS IN ADVANCE!!! :)

    Well...

I really enjoyed Eragon and Eldest by Christopher Paolini. MAD books!!

    I love dragons too!

Twilight is also very, very good, and though it does not contain dragons, it contains vampires. Both have fangs, right?

I can't think of anything else off the top off the top of my head. Hope I've helped.

Im currently reading a mystery series by John Sanford called the "prey" series ...

    Rules of Prey

    Shadow Prey

    Eyes of Prey

    Slient Prey

    Winter Prey

    Night Prey

    Mind Prey

    Sudden Prey

    Secret Prey

    Certain Prey

    Easy Prey

    Chosen Prey

I just finished Chosen prey and I have already read Rules of Prey...I think these books are wonderful so far and I cant wait to start the next one

There is also a series by james patterson called the Alex Cross books it includes the book "Along Came a Spider" which you might remember they made a movie out of and also "Kiss the Girls".....You need to be sure to read them in order because although its different murder mysteries it tells about his life story from one book to the next....I made that mistake and I knew a few thing that had happend to him already while I was reading one of the books, it kinda messed it up for me so I try to be more careful now.....Let me know if you do read them and if you enjoy them....

I have similar taste in books, especially the Harry Potter/mystery and magic. My friend turned me on to the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon...have you read those before? There are six books so far and she is coming out with a seventh one soon.

The books take place in the 1940s-60s and the 1740s-60s, respectively. They involve time travel in Scotland to the 18th century Scottish clan wars, love, sex, magic, murder, suspense--everything you could want in a series really.

There is a Yahoo! Group based on the series if you look under 'Diana Gabaldon.' I hope that helped!

try reading life expectancy by dean koontz..or u should try reading books from jeffrey archer(kane and abel was the first i read so sentimentally i think its the best, but try 4th estate and his older novels too) and u should read books by mario puzo, theyre awesome(but u should read those published after he wrote the godfather) and if u think u can handle it,read novels by james clavell, theyre super long novels that once u get into,u want more(eg: shogun, tai pan and noble house) ive read near everything in ur list(except stephen king) and i enjoyed em too,so im guessing ur gonna like the books i mentioned coz i also enjoyed those..have fun and happy reading...UR WELCOME IN ADVANCE!!! =)
