I agree with Mirage. If you're doing ANY kind of jumping/park riding with your bmx, then return the rim or buy a new hub, and be sure to use the proper length spokes. If you were attempting this on a casual bike to just roll around pavement with, then I'd feel differently....but you're bmx'ing and you need strong dependable wheels, dude!
I don't remember the lacing pattern, but it is possible to lace up a 32h hub to a 36h rim....I've seen it a number of times on road bikes. It's a poor choice, though, and you risk wheel failure. If you've ever had a wheel fail catastrophically (or seen it happen) you do NOT want this to happen! :o)
I've returned stuff to Dan's Comp before. Just call them. They're a bit weird with their ordering/returns because they get hit with a lot of....uninformed....customers that make mistakes or try to pull fast ones on them. They're a decent business though and will work with you....just call them up and explain what happened. They (or the bike shop you got them from) should work with you on spokes, too.
Good luck with the new wheel...ride the hell out of it once you get it proper! :o)

NO, you CAN'T use a 36 hole rim with a 32 hole hub... no matter what any other answerer says.
One problem is that rims have their holes offset to one side or the other to match up with hub flange. Crossing over to the other side of the rim will cause big problems in wheel tensioning and will cause frequent spoke breakage or pulling the spoke through the rim.
Next is that, if you do the math, the largest number that both numbers can be divided by is 8. If you were to try and lace the wheel up using the correct holes in the rim and hub you wouldn't have more than 8 spokes in the wheel.
The good news is you can probably still use the same spokes but it will be a very close fit... spoke threads are extruded so there are the same number of threads on each spoke. I did a quick check on the spoke lengths of various 36H and 32H wheels and it is conceivable that- although there will be some threads sticking out of the nipple and you'll have to file it off- they might work. Check this using a spoke length calculator and the brand and model of hub and rim with the pattern you are using.
So, get the correct rim and take care of business. Next time you won't make that error!

It happened to me once too and it really made me almost crazy trying to figure it out but I did it by skipping one hole every 7th rim hole. Though I eventually bought a matched rim and hub because it was not good to look at the missed holes.

32??
umm...
is it a freewheel or cassette?
your best bet would be to buy a whole new hub if its front it should be pretty cheap, if its your back hub I would recommend going to danscomp.com and buying the odyssey hazard lite, AMAZING hub.
I wouldn't try making it work though, if your gonna be doing anything extreme your just going to end up casing the spokes you just spent a bunch of money on.
