What books should i read...2...details inside...?
i really loved the book JUST LISTEN by SARAH DESSON...I found it by accident when i was buying cds at barnes and noble. I thought the cover and title was interesting and figured i will most likely like it from what i read in the back cover. Instead of guessing like i did with that book (it wasn't a bad guess...lol) but what are other books that are just like that one? I'm sure her other books are just as good?? Anyone read her books?? Anyone know any other books not by her that are similiar to that? I really think i'm going to pick up another one of her books...thanks in advance!! :)

She's one of my favorite authors.
Read her other books:
This Lullaby
The Truth About Forever
Lock and Key
Someone Like You
Those are her best ones other than Just Listen. I found the other ones to be kind of a waste of time, but they're ok.
Also read books by Deb Caletti:
The Nature of Jade
Wild Roses
Honey, Baby, Sweetheart
And read Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer.
I've read each like, 9 times. They're the best books ever, and it's a series of those three so far.
Also..
Bloom by Elizabeth Scott.
The Pursuit of Happiness by Tara (I can't remember her last name, and no, the book's not like the movie)
Burned by Ellen Hopkins
Just go on like, Amazon.com and look up books and they'll have books similar to the ones you search, too.
Hope those helped.
They're all really good.

Here are some really good books that i would highly recommend:
Lets get Lost - Sarra Manning
The Twilight Series & the Host - Stephenie Meyer
Circle the Soul Softly - Davida Wills Hurwin
Thirteen Little Blue Envelopes - Maureen Johnson
If you like Sarah Dessen, then chances are, you'll love these books.
Hope I helped!

I've read all of her books and I would recommend every single one of them. I would suggest reading all of her novels (that should keep you busy for a while) and then you might try reading other books about teens like Sarah Dessen's characters. Like, I like the it girl series by Cecily Von Zeigesar (or something like that) where the teen girls go through the same everyday problems with love and stuff like in Sarah dessen's books, but it is a little more like gossip girl (but not as trashy) than the dreamy perfect love stories that Sarah Dessen writes. Also, I like the author John Green. He has written the books An Abundance of Katherine's and Looking for Alaska. Both of these books have the same sort of sweet love story that will make you want to laugh and cry, but they also have more humor and seriousness, or overall are more diverse throughout the different chapters of the books.

Here are some of my favorite teen and some adult novels:
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. It's about a girl named Bella who moves to Forks, Washington and runs into a group of vampires. VERY VERY good! I REALLY think you should give it a chance because I'm not into vampire stuff, but it was AMAZING! http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Twiligh...
Pants On Fire by Meg Cabot. It's about a girl who basically has everything (popular best friend, good grades... and TWO boyfriends.) It's really funny because then her friend from eighth grade come back to town (everyone hates him) and she falls head over heals for him too.

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. It's about four girls who where born as friends. They go through ups and downs together.

All-American Girl and All-American Girl Ready Or Not by Meg Cabot. It's about an outcast girl who happens to save the presidents life. Suddenly everyone at school wants to be her friend, but she doesn't really care... What she does care about is the presidents son...

Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot. It's about a girl who goes over seas with her boyfriend after (almost!) finishing college. After a bad break up with him, she goes with her friend and runs into someone.... It's a very good adult book!

How To Be Popular by Meg Cabot. It's about a girl who comes across an old book in her grandma'a attic called how to be popular. So, she follows the rules of the book hoping to become popular.

Jinx by Meg Cabot. If you liked Twilight, then you'll like this book. It's about a girl who has bad luck all the time so she moves in with her aunt and uncle. He sister is into witchcraft and I don't want to spoil the rest, but it fairly good.

Teen Idol by Meg Cabot. This is about a girl who has an advice column in her school newspaper. So, when a famous actor comes to her school and she's the only one who knows about it, chaos occurs!

Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen is also pretty good. It's about two girls that are best friends who are having a few issues in the love department.

The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. I've only read the first two, but they are VERY good. It's about a girl named Suze who moves to California from New York because her mother just remarried. Oh, and Suze can see ghosts...

13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher. It's about a guy named Clay who gets these tapes in the mail about why a girl named Hannah killed herself. It's very good and a great page-turner!

She Went All The Way bu Meg Cabot. This is a book for more mature people, but it's very good. It's about two people who get stranded in the wilderness.

Forever... by Judy Bloom is also pretty good. It's about a girl getting a boyfriend and going through sensual things. It's a little mature.

Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan is okay. I don't wanna tell you what it's about because it'll just give it all away.
