Bambi would be my choice- although when we were raising tame deer when I was a teenager, our deer were named Hartford and Prudential after the insurance companies. By the way- it is NOT ILLEGAL to try to raise or keep a deer, at least not in the state of Indiana where I grew up. Michigan also does not forbid this practice- there was a deer farm across the road from one of the places I worked and lived at when I was there some years ago. There are even commercial venison farms in some parts of the West, so I don't know where these other answerers get the idea that keeping a deer is illegal. It isn't, as far as I know.

Do the right thing and call the wild animal sanctuary, they will help feed it properly and rehabilitate it AND you can have visitation rights and probably volunteer there and see lots of other cool animals!!

Figure out a good name by observing his character. Watch him and see if he's real active, nosey, or just real loving. A good name will come 2 you.
