I think that is a bit of an illusion.

People don't come to a site to say my Vista is running great without problems. People post when they have an issue and Vista is a widely used product.

When a new OS is released there is bound to be some issues, but from what I have seen the Vista issues have died down considerably.

Many of my friends have Vista (I am still XP) and not one has had a major issue. They are gamers and all say that Vista is great for gaming.

The biggest problem is people trying to use Vista on systems that just don't have the hardware to cope with it.

A lot of off-the-shelf systems these days come with Vista pre-loaded and they really shouldn't do as they don't have the adequate hardware to handle it.

Then you have the people with 5 year old computers trying to put Vista on it beause it's 'the latest thing'.

Vista is designed for high spec computers of today. I'm suprised in a lot of ways that microsoft actually made a 32bit version of Vista. Windows Vista requires a minimum of 2G of ram to run anywhere near smooth and have the ability to play games. To be honest the latest games coming out and running on Vista would make good use of 4G of ram and a decent graphics card with 1G of vram on it. On a 32bit OS that just isn't possible because of the 4G memory addressing limit.

Because Vista is full of problems.

I had a terrible time changing the font on my desktop. I have had the computer since January and my genius brother just got it done day before yesterday. I still want to change to the font color. I ended up with white, but thankfully the shadow is gone. I had to change the background to a solid dark color to be able to read it.

I really hate Vista, but I had no choice unless I wanted to spend an additional $500

I believe its the same for all OS problems... They simply don't understand how things work... and then assume its the fault of the operating system. Also there quick to jump on the bandwagon of other naysayers about Vista and going back to XP. Everything has bugs that need to be worked out. Even my new lawn mower motor. But I won't change it back to the old one.

the rationalization why ppl say it sucks is by technique of the fact, a classic consumer that makes use of their laptop is checking there e mail or chatting and surfing the internet. you're able to do all those with any working structures and not have any themes with. Its once you commence setting up new utility, that's whilst it starts to computer virus out. lots of drivers themes additionally. while you're a video editor or a valid engineer or producer and choose to artwork with a particular utility/hardware. it will take it sluggish for the drivers to be printed for that OS, and despite if it does artwork for now its no longer completely taking great think approximately regards to the full drivers ability. desire all this is clever. So think of approximately what you're doing on a on a daily basis bases on your gadget and examine it to a guy or woman who makes use of it to the MAX on a daily basis.

Vista was released before they had finished it. They did this so that they could beat Mac's newest operating system (leopard) to the market.

its new, like all new software, there are bugs that can only be discovered by using it alot. it will take years before the most common bugs are ironed out. initially windows xp, had quite a few problems too.

Microsoft windows vista uses alot of RAM-memory on your computer. It slows down your computer really much and it's not stable. No matter how carefull you are with your computer, you'll always get errors..that's windows you know.
