Statistics to Calculus?

I'm going to USCSumter this fall and just needed to know if it's a good idea to go straight into calculus I from Statistics? I have not had college algebra yet, but I did take algebra in high school albeit, I was a C student.

    if you can solve

find the inverse function for any one to one equation

know trig very well (sin, cos tan,) and its identities, (Sin^2x +Cos^2x = 1)

if you know how to factor equations

    know log and ln
