If I use Microsoft Office 2007, can I open and edit the file using Office 2003?

    Hi

    Yes , you can do that very easy way.Do the following.

    Just example with MS word 2007

    1. Open your document 2007 and create a new document .

    2. Select the "Office" Button, this will give you many options.

    3. Select the "Word Options" Button.

    4. From the Word Options Page, Select the "Save" section, and select the "save as" drop down list.

    5. Select the "Save As Word 97-2003 format" and press OK.

    6. Select "OK" to save all changes

    After that you open you data with office 2003

    Yes, it is possible if the computer with Office 2003 has the update installed that allows 2003 to open 2007 files.

    You are safest saving the file in 2003 format though, to do this hover over save as and select the appropriate option.

    yes you can, go to the top of the software and click on the office button and save it as: word 97-2003 document, and then you will be able to open and edit it in office 2003

    *shakes head* Yup a large thought from Microsoft to make a "workplace for novices" it somewhat is incompatible with the genuine product isn't it. I only propose to acquire and deploy open workplace and be carried out with it. And by using the subsequent computer purchase no longer order Works with it yet save utilising open workplace.

    You can get Open Office for free, it works just like MS Office.

    Always save as 2003 format if you're sharing file with your collegue.
