Older men marry younger women all the time, Why do not see the other way around?

That's not a very big age difference. But like most people said....women mature faster than men do and their sex drives are totally different during different periods of their lives. I think a younger man is perfect for an older woman because he can full fill her sexual needs better than a man her age can.

Depending on age spread between the two, I think men tend to think of older women more like a mother than a lover, if the age spread was something like 10 or more years. That's a turn-off. Plus, usually the guy is looking for a younger, prettier woman - some women don't age well - so if she's much older than him, before long, she looks like his grandmother - and that's definitely not a turn on. I've heard statistics prove a man lives longer married to a younger woman, but have never heard any statistics regarding the other way around... maybe not common enough to sample?

It has been a myth that older women can't marry an younger man, people always criticize them in different way, but society always see with good eye that an older man marry a young girl...like it I said society play a big roll on this and how we have been educate also religion and a different sort things.

well its usualy because woman mature faster than men so they just cant handle ones younger than them becuase they would be way to imature,

i for sure wouldnt a younger guy whos so imatue that he thinks hes so high and mighty dating a girl older than him and gets more than his friends :p

michelle, Pesonaly I think it is a matter of security. But if true love is involed it realy does not matter what the ages of a man and a women are ! Marrige is meant to be an eternal bond.

Its a biological thing - we're driven to pass on our genes, hence, we want the younger women of child bearing age....
