What bait/lures/etc should I use to fish Burke Lake in Fairfax, Virginia?

Any information would be helpful. I don't have a boat, however, so I'll be fishing from the shore.

    I really dont know that lake but either your fishing for trout, bass or a small number of other species.

    Almost everything goes for live bait, like a worm on a hook with a bobber.

    If your fishing for bass maybe a jig.

    I fish in Richmond area lakes, and have had most of my success catching largemouth bass with brokeback or jointed lures or buzz bait at dusk.
