Renaissance Festival Costume Ideas Help?

Would dressing like a fairy/faerie be out of place at a Renaissance Festival?

I've been to one, but it has been so long that I don't know if I ever saw faeries/fairies there.

The particular fair would be the one in Larkspur, Co this summer.
