I'd say to give it a few days after 14 days, to be sure since hatch time is 12-14 days, which is the hatch time on the eggs. Here's more info., see "Reproduction":

Well,I have robin eggs in my yard all the time and BOTH the previous users are right.,you should do both of them as a precaution,so hold it up to a bright light and see if you see a robin moving inside...AND wait some extra days after the other birds have already hatched because sometimes robin's hatch almost a week late...and then when they are finally hatched the late bird will probably be sick...so in the event that that occurs then you should call your local ASPCA and have them take away the infected bird ASAP or the other babies could get infected...also if the egg you think is dead is the only egg, just leave it there...robin eggs are not very healthy especially if they did not hatch because they are dead, not because there is nothing in there(that can happen, you know!) because that would mean the dead bird is still in there and it probably died of a disease so,therefore would make you very sick, also!
