Approximately WHEN was Jesus made a King?

Update:

1Peter 3:22 He is at God's right hand, for he went his way to heaven, and angels and authorities and powers *were made subject* to him.

This was written some time between Jesus death and approximately 64 AD or CE.

Before he came to earth he had authority, and once again all things will be gathered to him.

Update 2:

John 1:49 Nathanael answered him; "Rabbi, you ARE the Son of God, you ARE King of Israel."

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: "All authority HAS BEEN GIVEN ME, in heaven and on the earth."..

Update 3:

Ephesians 1:20 with which he has operated in the case of the Christ when he raised him up from the dead and SEATED him at his right hand in the heavenly places,

21) far above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name named, not only in this system of things, but also in that to come.

    Several times.

Jesus was made king of this world when He created it. He will be declared King again when He assumes His rightful throne of direct reign during His post-millennial reign.

Jesus was made king by birth. He was

born into the royal line of succession to the literal kingship of the Jewish people. He inherited this right through both his mother's and his mortal father's lineage. Unfortunately, the Roman Empire had dethroned the royal family and replaced them with apointees such as the Herodians. Nonetheless, when he was crucified, the sign mounted above his head, as well as the jurisdictional debates before it, testify to Christ's historical right to the title "King of Jews." That sign was placed there by a Roman pagan.

In summary, Jesus was declared king before the world was formed, at His birth, at His death, and will again be declared king at His final reign and judgment.

It's ALL guesswork. e.g. 'I'm guessing that he was being tutored by John the Baptist' Well yeah maybe but maybe he never even existed. Everything we hear about this person comes from just ONE account: The Bible. Maybe it's true maybe it isn't. That's the problem with religions - they are ALL faith based therefore they are pretty much ALL equivalent! I would have thought a real god would offer something more verifiable than just a written account. There are all sorts of written accounts claiming to be 'the truth'. How can we get an idea if which one IS 'the truth'? By logic / reason / evidence. These means strongly suggest there is no God.

Jesus becomes king in progressive stages.

The legal basis for Christ's kingdom is rooted in what is called the Davidic kingdom. Jesus was the son of David and so David's accession to the throne of Israel provides a messianic pattern.

For example, David was originally anointed to become king when he was a mere boy. Afterwards he slew Goliath and became a national war hero. Yet, even though he was the king-designate, he had to wait on Jehovah's due time.

Eventually David was forced to live as a fugitive because of King Saul's maniacal jealousy. During that time David collected to himself a ragtag army of men who recognized David as their king. After Saul was killed in battle, David was anointed as king over the single tribe of Judah while Ishbosheth inherited Saul's kingdom over the remaining 11 tribes.

Finally, seven years later all Israel made David their king. When once David's power was consolidated, he subdued all of Israel's enemies. His most outstanding victory was in capturing the Jebusite stronghold of Jerusalem, which he made his capital city. 2 Samuel 5:10 says of David's kingdom:

"Thus David went on getting greater and greater, and Jehovah the God of armies was with him."

Jesus' kinship follows a similar pattern as David's. First, he is anointed as king designate but he must remain in subjection to the Jewish system of worship and only a relatively few loyal disciples recognized his royal authority. After Christ's resurrection, though, he is given all authority over the Israel of God. He becomes the king of every anointed Christian that recognizes his authority. During the concluding phase of this system Jesus' kingship extends over non-anointed individuals who accept the message of his ambassadors.

Finally, his long wait at his Father's side is over when all his enemies are positioned as a stool for his feet, at which point, according to Revelation, "the kingdom of the world becomes the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ."

That initiates the critical changing of the guard that ultimately results in the cataclysmic destruction of Satan's world and the commencement of Jesus' uncontested 1,000-year reign from heavenly Jerusalem.

Jesus was NEVER a king - nor was he a Rabbi.

He taught BASIC Judaism, that's all; 'love thy neighbour' appears first in the Torah. He was NOT a Rabbi.

He is the King of Heaven, he has been the King of Heaven since the begining of time, his kingdom is not of this world, read the Bible and you'll know all this.

He wasn't really a 'king' by normal definition. He was called 'the king of the Jews' at the time of Roman Imperialism and later 'the king of kings' when people started believing in him being God/God's son.

A bit like how Elvis was only the 'king of rock'n'roll.

There never was a 'King Jesus' or a 'King Elvis'

    Edit:

Christians will insist on his royalty based on Biblical linguistics...

Since the writers of the bible made him up and then past him off as a real person. Don't believe me well here's my proof, and please note that these pagan myths predate the supposed birth of jesus by an average of 1,000 years.

Attis, of Phyrigia, born of the virgin Nana on December 25th, crucified, placed in a tomb and after 3 days, was resurrected.

Krishna, of India, born of the virgin Devaki with a star in the east signaling his coming, performed miracles with his disciples, and upon his death was resurrected.

Dionysus of Greece, born of a virgin on December 25th, was a traveling teacher who performed miracles such as turning water into wine, he was referred to as the "King of Kings," "God's Only Begotten Son," "The Alpha and Omega," and many others, and upon his death, he was resurrected.

Mithra, of Persia, born of a virgin on December 25th, he had 12 disciples and performed miracles, and upon his death was buried for 3 days and thus resurrected, he was also referred to as "The Truth," "The Light," and many others. Interestingly, the sacred day of worship of Mithra was Sunday.

Sounds familiar right, and you can search all these pagan myths if you want, and I think you should. It will change your life.
