Strip planting is a very effective method for helping control erosion and for useing crop rotation. It is used in my area but not extensively. There should be more strip cropping.

Where I live...farmers plant whole fields of one crop and most farmers only specialize in one crop...say corn for one example or carrots.
But I live in a high producing area that is where a lot of carrots/oranges/and grain come from
