Anybody know a sunless tanner that turns you brownish instead of orange?

Im 30 years old and tried sunless tanners at 15, back then they turned me orange, now at 30 i decied ill give it another try tried Jergens express turned me a dirty orange.

Im very fair skin but in the sun my skin turns a nice brown.

Are there any sunless tanners that turn you into a natural brown not a dirty orange?

I exfoliated and did everything right btw

    well...

    st tropez is the best.

    rimmel sunless foam.

all the lancome 1s ive tried are fab.

    clinique.

    and dont forget...

    1. Exfoliate in the shower (this can be done even with a washrag) before tanning.

    2. Dry yourself thoroughly.

    3. Put a little body lotion on rough patches like elbows, and kneees before applying

    4. Apply a couple hours before you go to bed. Make sure to sleep in/on something that you don't mind getting stained. You always want to do this while you sleep because the majority of the stuff smells terrible and you don't smell right again until your next shower.

    5. Wash and dry your hands often while you are applying. When you are completely finished apply only to the back of your hands with cotton balls. Then put regular body lotion on your hands. Lotion on your feet is a good idea too.

    6. When you are completely finished, used a q-tip wetted with peroxide on your fingernails.toenails, and cuticles and also on any spots on your face such as age spots, that you don't want to get any darker. Not only does it darken your skin, but it darkens age spots or dark spots too. The peroxide on the nails keeps them from turning that disgusting yellow color. Vaseline on your cuticles is a good idea too.

    7. Even if you are using a self tanning spray. It is a good idea to rub it in to make sure you are getting in on evenly.

    8. After applying, do not put on any clothing for about 1/2 to 1 hour and when you do, make sure its loose fitting and cool so you won't sweat.

    9. Don't forget obvious areas like the hairline, armpits, etc.

    10. If you are using a lotion, there are those sponge paint brushes that you can get at any store to apply to your back.Just put the lotion on the sponge and rub into your back thoroughly.

11.Use a cotton balls to apply close to your eyes.

    12. Don't use the extremely cheap products, they are very streaky. Go for quality.

    13. At least a couple days after you apply, make sure you keep exfoliating and keep moisturizing regularly so it doesn't wear off unevenly and splotchy.

    14. If it isn't dark enough apply again the next night.

    15. Using bronzing powders afterwards will also make the tan appear deeper.

    hope i helped =]

I have this stuff from Bath & Body Works. It comes in all the scents they have there, Cherry Blossom, Sweet Pea, etc. It doesn't really have a brand that I know of.. But it is gradual tan, and it works well. Also, when I bought it, it was on sale for only four dollars! Hope this helps. xox

The neutrogena products are nice. If you exfoliate first , they work better

I used to use loreal sublime bronze (i think that's what it's called). It worked good and definitely didn't make me orange.
