How do I fix dead pixels?

I have one dead pixel on my monitor(Yeah I know big woop) but it's very noticable during movies because it's a bright red color. Got any suggestions on how to fix it?

PS: It's the new samgsung model.

There's an online utility that claims it can help you fix most stuck pixels. In your case, it would be a 'stuck' pixel, because it's not 'dead' (it's not black, it's red) indicating that at least it does work. Try the website: http://www.jscreenfix.com/ and if that fails, turn your monitor off, massage the pixel gently, and turn power back on. Do this as a LAST RESORT, as it can cause surrounding pixels to stick/die.

This is probably not a dead pixel but a stuck pixel. Dead pixels are often black or white and stuck pixels are usually just one color like red, green, blue and such.

Here is an online guide which might be able to help you a bit: http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-a-Stuck-Pixel-on-an-LCD...

Since it's bright red, I assume it is a stuck pixel, and not a dead one. A dead pixel would be black or white.

Restoring only fixes the software of the ipod, where as the screen is hardware. So Nope, sorry.

    I don't believe you can; it's a manufacturing error.
