want to run windows 98 and windows NT 4.0 workstation on the same machine and make sure that all data files?

    FAT32, but you will be limited to a maximum C: drive size of 2GB, nowhere near enough nowadays, as many files are nearly that big.

    Are you taking a class in old computer stuff? First DOS commands and now outdated operating systems.

    Which operating system is older? You will need to use the file system supported by the older system. Newer systems generally are backward compatible in that area; that is, they can access the older file systems.
