Cod Liver Oil Capsules.?
I don't know if anybody has any suggestions but,i have a sealed container of 60 capsules-400mg,also a sealed bottle of 60 capsules-1000mg.The 400mg has expiry date 8/2006. The 1000mg January 2008,it does seem a shame to chuck them away, but i expect that's what will happen!?

It is a shame but the sell by date is there for a reason I would not take the chance. Don't forget how long they have been on the shop shelf before you even bought them.

I`d say get rid of them, the expiry date is there for a reason. It wouldn`t suprise me if they have gone rancid. All oils have a shelf life...

Please dispose them off, though you mention that the bottle is still sealed. Conditions such as heat and light also affect the medicines. So better chuck them away

leave them long enough and they tend to melt into one big sticky mess, mostly because the outside is a glucose shell (or sugar) its that which tends to be the bit which goes off. dont take em.
