We should leave Iraq asap. Agreed?

The way I see it, we're just playing world police now. We overthrew Sadaam. Ok, fine. But, it seems we have caused way more deaths over there since then than Sadaam ever did. Was it really worth it - the BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS OF DOLLARS SPENT and ALL THE LIVES LOST???

Some say, well that will just leave a vacuum for terrorists to fill. I think that is bs. There is plenty of territory for terrorists and if they are not there now, then lets go where they are. Right?!

Others say, well then they will come fight us here. I also think that is bs. They can come here whenever they want because our border security sucks. Why not just bring the troops home, have them guard our borders, etc?

Do you agree with my position? If not, state your case. Thanks.

I strongly disagree, reasons being: we are just now getting there government on its feet so why piss away all the money we spent getting them there, also there are more than just terrorists in Iraq they also train out of country in places like Somolia and Africa so if we leavfe Iraq just all of a sudden the terrorists will move back in unless we do like we are doing and build up their police and military force but also train them and weed out those that are believed to be insurgance inside the military(Iraq military). Another thing all of the people who want to pull out now dont notice is if you think gas is hi now wait until we just pull out and see wtf happens. Not to mention all the **** we are doing for the communitys and stuff the doesnt even get mentioned on the news because O let me guess its to positive to be reporting on for a war. The news also is a key factor because of how much they rig stories or just report on the negative, also another thing about the news when you see people like paris hilton and **** being reported on instead of troops I think there is a ******* problem and somebody at the news station needs to get their head out of their ***. Do some honest reporting for once not some bullshit.

I agree. i imagine the conflict on terror is a comic book tale. heavily, are you terrified of terrorists? I certain as hell am no longer. It extremely does no longer count number when we leave Iraq because those terrorists will basically wait it out. they're going to in no way pass away. there is basically one answer to this Islamic jihad terror conflict. Leaders of those Islamic extremist communities would ought to denounce terrorism. till that day comes there'll continuously be terrorists and the possibility of taking administration in Iraq. So, till we plan on coping with truth, and that being the extremist leaders will in no way denounce terrorism, then we ought to besides leave ASAP and prepare for the inevitable. That being both a civil conflict in Iraq or Iran or some terror crew(s) taking on. that is going to take position. yet heavily the basically way for it to end is via the extremists themselves.

    True on all counts.

If terrorists wanted to attack America again, how is having troops overseas helping? If the troops were back home, at least we'd have the National Guard and such to respond to basic emergencies.

Pull out now, sure. Save lives and a buncha $.

Troops could be rotated to border security. More cost effective and better idea than a 1000 mile fence. 4500 including Canada.

The Russians tried a fence in Germany, it didn't work.
