Wrongfull termination?
If you are fired from a place of employment for something that many other people has done themselves, is it grounds for a wrongfull termination law suit? The past employers are saying that you damaged property intentionally when you did not and you have plenty of witnesses to back you up, and after they terminated you they are denying you unemployment wages as well. Is this worth persuing, and what are my chances of getting retribution if i sue them when I have loads of proof about inadequecies in their policies?

Are you sure they didn't fire you because you can't spell?
If your employment was "at will" you have no claim. You provide no facts to allow anyone to determine the nature of your employment. Did you have an employment contract that provided that you would only be fired "for cause"? If not, you lose.

Most companies now have in their work books that they have a policy they can fire anyone for any reason and do not have to have a good cause. Example: 2 people spit on the floor in a shop, one gets fired for doing it, that person can't come back on the company for firing him, because its in their policy they can do it.

it really depends on a lot of factors.
one major factor would be where u live.
where i live they call it an "at will" state. that means that you can be fired at any time for almost any reason (other than age, sex, race, etc) but employers can still fire you and not even need to give a 'real' reason.

Probably not, because all those witnesses will soon get amnesia when they are put on the spot and leave you hanging out to dry. So it's better to learn from this and move on. Be careful what you do in your next job, and keep in mind that you are being paid for the work you do, not to horse around.

Your best plan of attack...Seek employment elsewhere. It is not worth the hassle.
