I cant view videos on my comp, it tells me that i need the newest version of flash, which ive downloaded countless times. and it also tells me that i may have java script turned off, and i never messed around with it to turn it off. so could anyone help me out by telling me how i can see if java script is turned off?

If you are usinf IE, then go to Tools ---> Internet Options ------> Security----->Custom Level. Scroll down and you find options to enable scripts.
