my car have problems?

I have a Cadillac Deville 86, what happens its when I'm driving the car this need charge to start, onces are running this runs for almost 5 minutes and stops without any electric charge then I need more electricity and I connect the battery to my jumper box.

You know what could be the problem? thanks.

    your alternator is bad, it will not support the engine and the battery is bad because it has been drained too far to be completely recharged.

    English can be a cruel mistress. You have a dead alternator. Your battery is probably damaged from running it dead so often, too.
