I agree to some extent because-

    1) people should know the value of fuel as a natural product which is dwindling rapidly.

    2) Ever increasing subsidy system will eat up the growth of the Nation.

    3) It is better to pay off on spot rather than

lingering long to cope with price hike of petroleum products.

    4) When huge import of petroleum product is necessary for a country, hike in International price of fuel tells upon economy crucially.

    4) Politicians make anything an issue to get in power but economists know well how to cope with economic issues.I have good faith on Mr.Sing on Indian context.

5)Side by side, renewable sources should be exploited havoc to reduce import and clean environment.

When a litre of petrol costs Rs 43.56 in Delhi at that time The excise duty component wass Rs 14.35 per litre while state sales tax is 20%. The Customs duty component of 5% on crude is also built in. States also levy entry tax and octroi on movement of crude which is passed on to consumers.

So I believe STATE as well as CENTRAL Govt could have done better to reduce the taxes , than to kick common man like this BUT the Price of Crude world wide is heading north and how long Govt can subsidize.

Definitely my Budget is on toss and hoping that some how we can absorb this !

No, I never agree with govt. increase in price, some extend crude oil price increase in the world market $ 140 barrel, but when the price are going to get down, at that time they are not going to reduce the price of fuel & gas (first priority need to be parliament member to control their expenses, Govt. staff (central &state) to work properly

I totally disagree with the increase in the price of fuel & gas.First of all da govt has nothing 2 do with it .The increasing price is very soon going 2 brk da record.I think increasing prices are useless coz the middle-class people are in looting way

No. I don't like that gas prices are rising because my house is about 45 minutes away from the local town that acshally has anything like gas and food and stuff. I end up having to go froom paying $20.00 at the pump to $50.00 there. I wanna just take it and detroy it and the gaverment with it.

    yes i agree

nothing to do with the govt. the barel price of crude oil is now $138

with in 6months it will be $200 as per the experts so in future they may increase a lot

but compared to other countries in India the TAX is more so prices are more

so better to decrease the TAX .........

Even though the It is necessary to raise the oil and fuel prices, the Govt. should control the expenditure on travels, tours and flying frequently by ministers and their entourage

How can you aspect us to agree with govt...but one thing i know maybe it’s for the best:... now govt will try to find alternate fuel sources...and I’m sure that fewer vehicles on the road can’t be all that bad for the planet...people will go on cycles for small distance which is good for health as well as environment.

i'm not going to agree with the increase in fuel and gas price, they are not going to reduce the price if the crude oil price comes to $110 or even less

The government has nothing to do with the price of gas, outside of trade regulations.
