My wife had a bunch of fibroid tumers removed a few years ago. Last year she had a tumor removed the size of a melon. She ended up getting a hysterectomy and that ended all uterus problems. Fibroid tumors have a habit of returning so your mom will have to be checked every year or induce menopause and not worry about it any more by getting a hysterectomy.

Well some tumors are non-cancerous like fibromas (actually leiomyomas) but there are many that are cancer... Endometrial cancers are very serious but the treatment if caught early is simply removing the uterus. If it has spread into the lymph nodes then the tumor is very dangerous but without any info there is now way to tell if it's a simple fibroid which may or may not be removed depending on pain or 1 of 6 or so cancers...

if they are non cancerous then she will have to get the removed, and she'll be fine.
