How do you get to be in the Top 10 Answerers of a category?
I have more best answers in the category than the no. 10 on the Top 10 Answerers in that category. How often is it updated, and is it updated automatically? Why would I not be on the list?

Sometimes it goes for a few extra days in a category before being updated. The past few weeks, it's been updating on Wednesdays for the category of which I am in the top 10. This week, it hadn't updated until today.
It goes by number of best answers in that category, for all time. Sometimes you can see someone on the top 10 list who has 0 points this week, so you know they are not actively participating anymore, or at least not lately. As long as you keep actively answering questions in that category, you will break into the top 10 eventually!

truth, kindness, honesty, maturity will help. I'm not in the top ten, but I do get a lot of best answers. I would guess having more best answers than anyone would get you there and that would take spending a lot of time answering a lot of questions.

It's not undated a lot. It was updated today, the first time in 3 weeks.
