is mikey really blind?

Alot of blind people can see close up shadows but cannot see within a room kind of thing. An old man i knew would always know if there was more than one person in the room because he could see the outline of the shadow. Not all people that are blind see complete darkness. Also if BB was making him act it, they would get millions of complaints of harshness and it would get way too much bad attention in the press so they wouldn't consider it if they're brains are working and they want to keep ratings and money high.

He just knows Mario and knows that Mario would put the wrong hat there.

EDIT: You're just assuming that he doesn't know anything about him. You don't know, They might have been briefed about the other people who would be there and it came up that Mario might do something like that. You don't get to see everything that is going on or had gone on.

He might just be partially blind? Maybe he knows what stuff is his and what stuff isn't. I'm sure we'll find things out properly as time goes on.
